looking at buying a long wheelbase has a v8 auto dont know much about it can anyone tell me if they came out with 8s & what the towing capacity is please it is a 74 model

they didn´t come out with V8 so needs engineers certificate.
this can be expensive ($800 for inspection plus whatever needs doing, disc brakes, maybe remove petrol tank, heater working etc).
If it is engineered that is worth money!

most bedfords have unrated towbars so i would have it looked at properly as this will be the week link.
my towbar went in the bin, too many idiots doing stupid things (holes cut in it to access spring shackles, cut off and extended and bullbar added,
had some major cracks and tears in the welds, one trip away from disaster :o.

- everything that has not been reconditioned recently will probably need reconditioning-
