20 years as a carpenter builder got me enough tools to fill a woodworking workshop, I could do with more mechanical toys ... woops I mean tools ..... the most valued tools ? thats easy, my hand held carving tools have given me hours and hours of pleasure creating traditional woodcarvings, closely followed by my home computor  ;D
ekm ...... never lead with your chin, let others lead with theirs

Mezz, might not only be your wife  ;D

For me the list is long but before anything else is a good vice and work bench.

Then Welders oxy and arc - would love to get me a Mig - maybe for my birthday, thats coming up soon :D

Angle grinder, bench grinder.

Hand Tools, good quality sockets and combination spanners, files hammers and clamps.

My lathe is pretty handy too.

Buga it, Id love to have a whole engineering workshop at my disposal.
