Vanner from the Bottom of NZ
« on: September 30, 2009, 07:51:38 PM »
Hi All I have been interested in vanning for the past 12 years. I have owned about 6 vans 2 that I have had on the road.

My first van that I got on the road was a Mk1 with a 350 chev under the bonnet. I spent a lot of money on her about 9 years ago but then I let it sit out side for about 8 yreas and now it still sits out side under the rain. This van has reached retirment. Now is being converted to a master bedroom at our section in the Catlins (east cost of the south island for you Aussi's)

I am onto my second van to go on the road. My user pic is what I want the front to look like. It's a Mk 2 Jumbo running a 202 holden. Still  alot of work to do to but at least it is on the road and now on its second warrent.

I have heaps of ideas but finding the time is a mission.

I run an Architectural Firm here in Invercargill and am also doing house renovations to our 1904 Villa, also family commetments keeps me busy.

If days were longer and nights were shortly and we did not need sleep life would be so much easier:)

Good to catch up with some fellow vanners I have been to a couple of Van Nats here in NZ now it year man waht a blast.

Catch up again

Cheers Phil
