he he he yeah I know bro  ;D I had an electric pump on a 327 chev in an earlier van back in the late 80's wasn't too bad apart from the constant clicking. knew you were getting low on fuel when the clicking sped up all of a sudden   ;)

Another query about the beddy for you folks:

I mentioned that I was going to buy one and was told by a friend that the bodies are weak and suspension is unreliable. Could anyone tell me things I should look for when buying and what the negatives would be overall?

id buy the best fuel pump u can, with warrantee.
holly seem to have a good name.

my suspension has been ok, only problem ive ever had was dropped a bottom balljoint= means van needs towing home or to a mechanic.

top n bottom balljoints tierod ends are the main thing to check and check all the bolts n nuts.

if anything my suspensions 2 good, heavy duty springs etc,
its hurts my lower back when i go over potholes i cant avoid,

might have top sell my van soon and get something with softer suspension.

So the comment about the body being weak was as unfounded as the suspension comment?

I'll take a look at the balljoints and everything. Thanks for the heads up  :)
