had one where one wire went to the coil, so when on motor turned but no spark, was great!
sure some of the electrically savy can tell you exactly how
If you like it do it, If you like it a lot do it a lot!

same tip ... different post ..... I have heard of bad boys taking number plates off bedfords and the like then arranging for wreckers to pick the van up, collect $200 no questions asked... this has happened in the suburbs in Melbourne when vans are parked out in the street and not being driven. My tip .... at the very least pop rivet the number plates on. The kill switch is a good idea as beddies are deadset easy to hotwire, I used to remove the coil lead from mine when I left it in unsavoury places, I also use a twin battery system and turn the switch to off overnight. For a crime to occur there must be two ingredients, a bad guy and opportunity, can't do much about the behaviour of bad guys so make your van as hard as you can to steal, when I used a beddie in the building trade a few years back I used to take the steering wheel with me whenever  I parked in the city. Looked like a dill but knew the beddie was gunna be there later in the day. Why take the steering wheel and not the coil lead? because the bad boys will flatten your battery before realising it aint gunna go as opposed to getting in it finding they can't drive it and don't bother trying to start it.

Same principle with push bikes .... take the seat off, bad boys don't get far standing up to cycle and don't get much money for a seatless bike.
ekm ...... never lead with your chin, let others lead with theirs

awsome idea eddy. take the steering wheel. or lock it in the back somewhere!! im gunna do that to my new van.

in black beddy i had a padlock system so you could padlock it into park!

also if your on gas you have usually 3 solinoids, just cut power to the one on the gas tank. therefore they can hear the front gas solinoids click but nothing will come out cause of the rear one not on,.

cheers

mate another good idea is to have a tap on your fuel line so if they find the kill switch they only get as far as the fuel bowl lets them or if you have a petrol pump add a switch to turn it off if all that fails do what mad max did rig it to blow that way if you can have it no one can lol :D

yeh both good ideas!

yeh just add a petrol solinoid (like for lpg)  up near the petrol tank so they cant see it!!

dont like the blow it up one thou bro. now this is getting drastic but you could hook up a gun to shoot them in the leg when they press on the accelerator, im not sure if that would stop them thou? maybe a gun that shoots through the seat and shoots them in the rib.

its starting to sound a bit too drastic thou i think lol.
