Fuel sender..petrol tank seal
« on: August 21, 2009, 03:31:02 PM »
Heya

My fuel tank is leaking....i have replaced all my fuel lines ..breather back to filler etc....

but i think the fuel is spilling out from where the sender is.....

has anyone replaced this seal?

...and if so...is it the same as a holden one?

is it a simple o ring or rubber seal.?

..i havent pulled it apart yet

but was wondering if anyone has ? or has any info on this

much appreciated

Marky ( the petrol sniffing Bedford head) ??? ::) ??? >:( ??? ::) >:( ??? ::)

when I took my factory sender out it had a cork gasket and 6 screws securing it
Just customize it!

why not just get a Holden HQ-WB sedan or station waggon one and mig the bedford mounting plate on it,
and adjust the depth of the float.
and id make it so when it shows empty there is still 5 litres left in it.
5 litres would get u 2 the closest servo,
i just dont like walking 2 get fuel with petrol cans.
