Steering mod
« on: July 29, 2009, 09:59:32 AM »
Hey again, the ball is rolling with my Pick Up. Im really wanting to modify the steering angle similar to a car. Ive seen the promo CF2 from Madsoundz uses a Toyota Estima dash with the column change and steering angle that Im after. Its abit of a drive to go check it out but I will as soon as I can. In the mean time any wise ideas? Cheers

Hey thanks Paddy, that would be awesome man. I'll let you know. Its a good reason to tie a surf trip to Raglan in aswell. Appreciate your offer...

I'm using a toyota vista steering column, toyota hiace steering box thing (is a 90 degrees angle thing) and remounted the CF steering rack, rolling it forward a little

it's not the bevel box that has opposite direction, is same direction so don't have to steer backwards, it works well too
