have put in ford xw disc brakes they fit fine aye bolt into the original wish bone ball joints

Do you mean you fitted XW Ford hubs/disks to the standard Bedford stub axle?

Ahh I see. So will you be using the XW brakes too?

tea mate they bolt on and ive just got to get a new brake hose made  changing the brake booster to have an ld 28 in the van have modified the front head lights used 1980 toyota crown head lights twins so changes the whole look of the van wanted the five stud pattern so i can run 17'" or 19" mags

Got any pics of the conversion, as it could be a good conversion tip, may be heaps cheaper than the kits going around.

Did you use ford ball joints to go into the bedford wishbones ?

Now if you fit Transit power steering it may all just bolt up.

Yes, but if you mount the transit power steering like some of the post on thi site suggest then it could be a simplw sweet conversion.

one of the dis advantages of the HQ conversion is that the discs have to be machined out to suit the bedford bearings, last time I went to a break place they were going to replace the discs, they were border line, but didn't because of the legalities of supplying modified discs.

If it is a sraight bolt on, then it opens up the option for adding the Powere steering, and a greater chioce and availabilty of custom rims
