Thats not too ugly eh, umm mazda steering wheel on what looks like the beddy shaft, interesting !!

I think one of the hardest things to scratch build and have it look really nice is a dash, thats why so many folks graft something from another vehicle in.
A dash has to flow, be functional and its also a major focal point, whats more it gets close scrutinty from the front seats.
It almost has to Asymetrical, yet not, as most of the time you dont want the left being a direct mirror of the right, its a tough one.

I like that dash using commodore components in the van show pics, he did a great job and its nicely proportioned, very snappy.

Well Eddy could be worse, could be all the Kiwis in Ausi buying up all the beddy's and taking them to the gold coast.

You come up with a second MK2 and il see if I can talk Bas around to calling it done eh.

flippen heck Rusty ... okay you guys win, I must be humble and accept defeat   :'(  I can't come up with another Mk 2. Im onto van number 13 and they've all been the very desirablke Mk 1's., my missus will have a hissy fit if I bought another one home, especially just to entertain myself on the net   ::).

Lol ..... Of course not all the beddies that Kiwis buy here end up at the Gold Coast coz the Kiwis living up there will feel too much at home  ;)
I'm a Kiwi too and all my vans started off in Melbourne to pastures greener across Oz but none to the Gold Coast. Now if I can get the tow van finished I'll drive the beddie up past the Gold Coast and wave out to all the Kiwi cuzins as we pass thru .........    :P ;D
ekm ...... never lead with your chin, let others lead with theirs

Rusty, can you get a price list for all your parts please, have a few parts people are wanting and figured might be able to help you sell some bits.

Parts so far I am looking out for people are: swb body, bonnet (no scoop), rear doors, petrol tank and r/f sliding door
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

Hello Sunshine

Im still in Aucks so will drop a price list out to you, I have a spare gas tank, looks to be in good nick, but il chuck some meths in it and check it for leaks , to be sure.
$50 buck for the tank if it comes up ok, does that sound reasonable ??
The tanks still up in Keri so would have to bring it down next time i come which will be in around two weeks, from the end of this week, so that makes three weeks lol

Cheers
Rusty

just little stuff now, door catches, bonnet hinges, sunvisors, head light bezels, rear door windows, window regs, headlights, indcators, door handles, ign. cables - gas, choke and i think there might be a clutch cable there.
I've also got 3 steel mk 1 bonnets there but I haven't repaired them yet, all 3 need new front edges.
