Looking for a SWB
« on: May 08, 2009, 04:35:58 PM »
Hi guys,

I started a post in another area about this before I saw this section:
http://www.buga.com.au/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=2&topic=1029.0

So if anyone comes across one, please let me know.

Cheers, Jason

Gday

There's nothing wrong with being keen.

There seems to be an increase in people looking for CFs at the moment. I have had 3 phone calls in the last fortnight. I had to burst their bubbles about getting a clean running van for less than two thousand dollars. One even expected windowless vans to be commonplace.

If you find what you want, don't procrastinate because someone else will get it.

Regards
The problem I have is that most of my stories end with... and that is why I am not allowed to go back there!

Hi Forkie

I have a CF SWB that I bought a number of years ago as a project but haven't got around to getting my best intentions underway to any major degree.  I have stripped the internals but that's about it.  The van is very straight and no rust.  Hasn't been turned over for a long time so would need a little tinkering to get going.

Looking for around $1500 to part with given I will be moving overseas in a few months.

I am located in Canberra.

Will try and get some photos uploaded

Hey Chriso,

Yep, still looking. I've sent you an email. Can reply to that with some pic's?

Cheers, Jason.
