they were out of proportion and you have to move ball joints to get the camber right craig says. yes its supposed to be the proper way.

regards lowering kit: would you rather fit;
     
  A) new front chassis rails (could these be grafted to a sub chassis) and floor sheet metal retaining bedford steering and geometry, which I think works quite well
  B) or try and figure out the steering geometry and modify an endless list of parts and Machining????

what do you think?

is the cab chassis strong enough to put under a van?

ummm,,, won't that look a bit strange.... chopped, dropped and stretched... OK.. lets give it a try...
