Buying a new Diff

Can you lads  keep an eye out for me, for a Porche LHD steering rack on ebay or wherever, cheers cobbs.(have to check out the old web site for more info)

Hey fella's,

yea the guy that sold me the steering rack is some kind of bedofrd loving guru, seriously the nicest most knowledgable bedford guy i've ever met. I got lucky cause he went to a swap meet and wanted $500 bucks for the rack and no one bought it and I didn't have the coin when I first talked to him before he went to this swap meet to buy it. He said someone offered him $200 bucks at the meet but he told em $300 was his limit so I just offered him $300 bucks when i Picked up my diff. He told me it usually costs about $1,200 for the rack mounts to be converted to fit the bedford, considering he's been real honest so far I think that must be true? 

I don't have any pics right now but i'll take some and post them up. The rack has been converted to bolt straight into a bedford and there is a sticker on it with the company that modified it and the part number they gave it, it's half scratched off but i'll take a pic and you might be able to make sense of it. A few of the copper/steel pipes are a little bent up, i'm just gonna go to a brake place and have them make some new ones.

I'll check the diff and let you know the ratio. I don't mind telling you how much i paid, i had to pay the asking price of $950, considering I got it with two new tyres and the seller turned out to be a practising member of one of the fueding bikie clubs of recent times I was pretty happy to walk away with the deal and no bruises, I started to bargain and he got pretty short and so I pulled my cash out cause I figured I was getting a good deal. It was sold through a legitamately trading company and I got a receipt so I know (or hope) it was the genuine article.

950 is still pretty reasonable if you ask me.. but 300 for power steering is flippen great dea! i would have puled out the 500 if i were there!!!!!!! fantastic bro well done..
