Electrics...........seems lots of Bedford lovers are having trouble with Electrics...does anybody know of someone who can and will be able to do quality electrical work without having to raise a mortgage to pay for it ? I am sure the need is great, I myself require a complete van rewire but am tempted to have a go myself due to others relaying what they have payed for and the general low quality of work..I think these vehicles are so old now if you can't plug a laptop in the sparkies have no idea what to do... How I miss old school workmanship and ethics....can anyone suggest a solution to this problem..Rogerfied

look on ebay for a "painless wiring loom"

is everything you need, just helped mate rewire his '68 pontiac with one

You can get a loom made for the cost of your left kidney or selling your first born into slavery! Same with using a painless harness!

Me, I made my own. (loom, that is)- the CF is the second one I have done
Once you can wrap your head around the logic of what everything does, tiz a piece of cake.

I used (mostly) new wire and a VN/P fuse box. Minimum 4mm, with 5mm for the headlights/spots and about 8mm for the main feed to/from the battery to the fuse box(via the alternator). I also re-used the mini-loom for the wipers.
Total cost was well under $400.
