CA Bedford (1963) - does anyone know this Beddy?
« on: November 17, 2015, 09:38:20 PM »
Despite being a CF Bedford tragic, I've also long had a soft spot for the CA. Does anyone know this CA based up on the Gold Coast? I'm seriously considering adding a CA to the garage...

Hey Neil , not sure if you remember me . I bumped into at the Yass petrol service station , just off
the Hume freeway about one month ago , we were both heading north You gave me your details
on a post it note ,
I was totally in awe of your shiny Bedford camper . Even recall your jerry cans on the rear being
chrome and shiny . You have some fine craftsman skills .
I would love to see what you could do a Bedford CA , personally l believe its one the most beautiful
    vans ever made .
Happy travels and l hope you find what your looking for ,...........Frank

G'day Neil.  That red CA was restored by one of my Vauxhall club members.  I haven't seen it myself, but those who have say it is an immaculate job.
I assume you have seen it advertised for sale?  Probably test drive it, they have a 4 cyl engine of about 1.5 litres, and also small brakes! But you probably know this already.
I have a resto project last model CA, but the favourite for looks is that series II.
regs,
Andrew O.
