« on: February 10, 2015, 02:30:41 PM »
G/day,
Can anyone id these diffs?
Thinking the bigger is standard bedford diff.
Thinking Second smaller one is a highway diff?
Cheers marty

Looks like a chev 12 bolt in first 2 and beddy in last 2

edit: found this, yep looks like the 12 bolt (2nd from left on bottom row), note the peak across the top
The bedford looking one has a longer flange than normal, if it was over here (in NZ) I'd say it had a cresta crown wheel and pinon in it

There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

Agree with BusyKiwi... What ratio would be a help, especially with the 12 bolt

The last 1 looks like a Cresta or Velox diff for sure. I pulled one apart on Saturday that is from a PB Vauxhall Velox. Had the 3.7 ratio crown wheel and pinion. Brought a beddy late last year and at 80 km's the diff is screaming, so looking to upgrade mine to the Cresta set up. If anyone can help with some info on it would be much appreciated.
Cheers
