Selling project Beddy Camper
« on: January 30, 2015, 05:47:22 PM »
Hi all,

Regrettably we have to sell our 1975 Bedford CF Camper.

At the time, we had high hopes, and after an amazing summer living with her in the Takapuna Campground, but life happened, and she has sat in our driveway with no way to be able to rescue her.

She can be someone else's project or used for parts, but either way she needs to go. I won't deny she needs a lot of work, but perhaps someone who has more of the drive and passion and time for her will be better off.

She has a beauty of an engine in her - a Straight 6 'Big Red' - which still runs well as far as I know. The conversion has all the cert stuff shown inside the drivers door.

Also comes with the Bedford CF owner's manual (Yes, we really did want to fix her up ourselves).

No WOF (since she's been in the driveway and hasn't moved from there, there was no point) and Rego is on hold.

She's also on a friends property in West Auckland so needs to get off there asap. Yes, she can drive off the property, doesn't need a towie except for the no WOF or Rego part.

Has had a tarp over it since it's been in the driveway, just in case.
Sleeps 6 at a squeeze, 2 above the cab and four in the back, bunk style. Or you can do what me and hubby did and chuck a mattress in the back to be more comfortable.

Huge amount of storage space - under the seats, in the kitchen area above the back area and outside in the box mounted onto the back.

She's pretty straightforward, everything else in it is original as far as we can tell - Oven, fridge etc. Comes with gas bottle and water tank for under the sink, as well as a couple of batteries but we never really needed to test any of these things out so not sure how well they run.

Any other questions about details please ask, I'll do my best to answer for you.

Sold as is, where is. $1500 ONO. She's up on Trade Me if you want to see more pics of the inside etc.

Cheers
