I had a CA bedford once, was an old camper but as I was only about 20 at the time it became a shaggin wagon - well would of if the girls stopped laughing long enough.
The front door rollers were rusted so if the doors were open (slide back) when going around a corner they would fly up - saldy wouldn't increase of over all speed, which was about 75k's down hill, tail wind on a good day.

I brought it for $100, sold the camping gear out of it for $150 and ended up selling the van for around $100, so didn't do to bad out of it. I think I sold it for a hillman imp - bad move lol
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

Hey Guys, I did my apprenticeship on those and heaps of other Bedfords including 2 litre 4cyl. CF's and V4 ford Transits.  The NZ Post Office in Auckland probably had at least 200 Beddies and Transits.  SHIT that was a long time ago!!
Cheers Brian O ???
