CF-E History
« on: November 25, 2014, 02:41:26 PM »
Although this subject has been covered previously, I can't find this link on here.
There's some comprehensive info on the history of the Bedford CF-E and GMC Griffon (USA).

http://vauxpedianet.uk2sitebuilder.com/bedford-97000---cf-electric-cf-e-gm-griffon-usa

John Fletcher's 1985 GMC Griffon van, "Electron Guzzler".

....and a related thread : Bedford CF2 Van, blog by outriding (previously posted).

What an interesting project!  I wonder how much performance improvement there would be with the latest batteries and motors?
There appear to be at least two of the Bedford / Lucas vans in Australia;
