LWB Salisbury Diff splines?
« on: June 04, 2014, 09:01:56 PM »
I have a LWB dual wheeler that from what I can work out has an original Salisbury 10 bolt centre.

Can anyone tell me how many spline the axles are on this diff??

I have a commodore 10 bolt Salisbury ( 28 spline)  laying around and was hoping to swap the crown wheel / pinion to get a better ratio

Thanks, Mick

so you know for sure.... undo the bolts holding the axle into the diff and see if it will fit into what you have.

My duel wheel diff is from a chev... maybe... I have no idea and hope like heck I don't have any issues when I need new bearings etc.

But that's the joys of owning a CF
Workin for the weekend!

Yeah that would get me the answer but I'm using the Beddie every day at the moment an the Diff is at my parents farm so hoping someone knew how many spline and it will save me a lot of hassles.

All th LWB's I have had a look at have a Salisbury, but if you have a Chev or Salisbury you won't have any prob finding bearings etc

mick you can pull an axel out in 5 mins on the lwb its a full floating axel so you dont even need to jack up the van to pull an axel out. undo the bolts holding it in place in the centre of the wheel then pull it out check out the spline pop it back in easy done:)
