The world-famous Bay to Birdwood this year is only accepting vehicles built between January 1956 and 31 December 1977. My '73 camper with its original '73 Dolphin (Melbourne) body complies, so we're taking a week off to drive over via the inland route and back via the coast.

Any other Bedfords attending? Time to fly the flag!

just back from a round trip to Adelaide for the Bay to Birdwood Classic. We drove inland to Adelaide, and back via the coast. A great trip! The Beddie ran like a dream.

I highly recommend the Bay to Birdwood Classic for fellow Bedford owners! Next one is in 2013.

Some pics taken on the trip can be seen at http://www.grouseguitars.com.au/dolph, and here is the Bedford at the end of the run at Birdwood.

will they accept my '79 beddy in 2013?
Another good cruise will be the Kerneweck Lowender cavelcade, wallaroo-moonta-kadina, also in 2013 (i think) My beddy was eligible to enter this year (anything up to an'81 model) but was not ready in time
