as an first time attendee to the NZ Van Nats Weeksn in Wellington, it was an awesome weekend with a great bunch of guys, both clubs running the show and weekend did a hell of a good job and has given us in the shakey city something to hopefully live up to next year. it defintely was an inspiring weekend on getting my beddy on the road

Well the Nationals was another awesome event. Didn't have my van there as it's in the stripping down process in prep for a paint job so we took the car instead. It was great to meet up with Russel and Scott and a few others who drop in here from time to time.

I should remind you aussies that the big van culture is the only van culture. A panel van isn't really a van, it's a car, and even the aussie vanners that drive them talk about them as a car so go figure. So lets keep reminding them that if they want to really go vaning then get a real van.  ;D ;D ;D

Sorry I didn' catch up with you at the show Rogue but after helping with a bit of set up at the show we went into the city to check out Weta. Another awesome addition to the weekend.

By the way Jeff took out both Peoples Choice and Vanners Choice along with Best Big Van and Best Big Van Interior at the show so that was great. Also David's van, Vantom took Best Newcomer and he and Jane were both over the moon. Kane's Night Vision won best Light Display and at night it's something to be seen. Would be up there with the best that we saw at the US Nats last year.

Roll on next year. If I get my A into G then I might even have mine back on the road with not only a new paint job but a modified interior as well

Popped along to the 2013 NZ Van Nationals show today and spent about 3 and half hours cruising around the vans although probably more than half of that time was spent talking. Met Russell (Tiwaz) and Jeff (CFJeff) and had a jolly good yarn with both the guys. Good to put a couple of faces to names as well as catching up with a few of the old SCV club members.

There was a good turn out of vans although not so many Bedfords. Here are some shots of the vans on display. The process of shrinking the pics has softened the images a bit I'm afraid but you get the idea.

By the way, the new Photobucket website sucks balls!

Pilot/Escort vehicle?

This is a later model from River City.

Happy to be living past my "use by date" I was given 6-12 months to live in August 2007

gidday, yep sure was good to meet rouge and tiwaz in person at this years nats. Always good to put faces to names. See how many bugas we can get to next years nats here in shake city. There were 6 of us at this years (3 of in their vans), lets see if we can beat that next year.
Just customize it!
