Are these transmission mount bushes?
« on: November 17, 2012, 12:21:25 PM »
Hi
I have a holden transmisson and 253 in the beddie, the road worthy states that I have to replace the Gearbox mount bushes. I wasn't present at the road worthy so I'm guessing they're the rubbers in the image.
I can find the mount online but can't seem to find these bushes online anywhere.

do they go by another name? Any help appreciated.

cheers
Tom (CF 75')

take those rubber inserts between the mount and the trans out and just make up some steel bosses the same thickness and fit them ,you dont need 2 insulators/mounting rubbers in the same place   Cheers Neil

Even get a bit of flat bar to put between the cross member and the mount to raise it up to the height its currently sitting at
