NEVER CUT YOUR SPRINGS.

You should be able to have them reduced slightly in height and to do that have them re-tempered. It's not expensive and it's safe. Bear in mind that reducing the height of the springs will affect the toe and camber of the wheel alignment so you can only go so far. I reduced the height of mine but did a bit of work with the springs out of the van lowering and raising the front till I had a happy medium. When it's finally on the road it should go round corners nicely but not chew the tyres out in a straight line.

Don't expect to be able to drop it like the boy racers as the suspension setup won't allow it. Lowered mine by 20mm.

Kings do a lowered CF Bedford spring, not sureof the part number, but are pretty low. chk my SWB gallery pics. I'll try and find the paperwk. It will be in a file in the shed.Cost me $400 to have both fr n rear done + wheel alingments and fitting of Nolothane bushes. well worth it.
Can I go play now...?
