318 v8 anyone put one in a cf

hey guys anybody done a 318 v8 into a cf before and is the sump a problem

was talking to a guy who works at the place where im getting my cert done
he said he use to do a lot on 318/340/360 swaps into the bedfods .. he said they were a easy fit

Why bother with the 318? 340/360 are the same external dimensions, for a lot more hp/torque.
360 would be the go, they were made for longer & have more parts available. With extractors/cam/headwork, would get a Bedford moving pretty well.
