Yep george, get back on the van, you need this to pull yourself through, my mate spends 90% of the time in bed now, and only up in the chair on a good day............ Has even got a $150,000  rebuilt Mustang in the garage that just sits there now.......

have you tried truck truck spare parts places or wreckers  a lot of the old small trucks had them and they would open both ways.
And you thought owning a bedford was going to be easy.

What about this place, right there in OZ, must be around 10" if my math is any good  :D

 http://caravansplus.com.au/catalog/index.php?cPath=99

ELIXIR Mini Vent White 18511, 250mm x 250mm fits a 250mm square hole.

Features

The inner trim allows for variable roof thicknesses, but is best from 20 to 30mm thick (thicker roof will require some additional finish to vertical sides.
The compact roof vent opens with the included handle and the vent also includes a flyscreen. Vent opens to 45 degrees and when closed sits only 30mm above the roof top.

Screw or rivet into position with silicone.

G'day

Thanks for that.
The ELIXIR Mini Vent is the one we are looking for. The blokes in the US wont ship OS
Still there is a big difference between US$26.99 and AU$67.28

Regards
The problem I have is that most of my stories end with... and that is why I am not allowed to go back there!

Hey Chris, there's a website called www.shipito.com. Their business is receiving and forwarding on items when the sellers won't ship out of the States. I've used them and they're good. They're great for those little eBay gems that you can't get anywhere else but the seller won't ship overseas. Just set up an account and get yourself verified and you're away. You do have to place a deposit when setting up your account but that comes off your first shipment anyway.

Generally if it's something I really want and can't get anywhere else I really don't care about the shipping. Got my eye on a couple of mufflers on eBay right now which aren't going to be cheap but I think they will be just the ticket.
