I was surfing youtube yesterday and was watching some rally vids and there was one car that the acc. cable had obviously broken so his co driver was sitting in the engine bay working the throttle whilst they were going along. :o Bloody pissed myself laughing :D :D

When mine went it broke at the carby end, we were on the way back from the beach so i pulled the engine cover off and got one of my mates to give it shit via a pair of pliers while i operated the steering and brakes, the novelty was high for the boys if nothing else.

I bought a universal cable and changed the ends off my original sheath onto this new one. I could have used the original sheath which would have been considerably easier, tho the new one has to be better.. hahah

Bike cable would have saved me $25 odd however. Good discovery
