There is a $1,000 spread between the van being sold with an RWC and without.

Does anyone know off the top of their head what an RWC costs in Victoria without the need for any vehicle repairs ??

The listing states that the van has gone 327102 Klms...... hmmmm

I am curious.........

Just to update. I went to see both the Dormobile at Shannons (they accepted a tentative offer of just over $7K pending my inspection of the vehicle) and the '73 Dandenong-made 1-owner Dolphin camper I ended up buying.

The Dormobile was a sad proposition. The interior needed stripping, throwing away, and starting all over again. It had just one opening window, which would have made it deadly to camp in in Australia! Maybe fine in England...

Lots of filler in the body, and generally a very, very dubious proposition. The photos looked a lot better than the reality.

I see it has now sold, so hopefully the new owner got it for the right price and has the money and patience to get this unique vehicle back to the condition it should be.

But my partner and I have no doubt about the choice we made!

Cheers to all.

Looks like you scored well with the Dolphin camper...
It would be good to see some pics of her from the inside.

How does it drive?

cheers

Ian

Yes, I am sure I did! It drives superbly (other than a diff whine that is the subject of some activity and another discussion!), and has been very well cared for and loved all its life. I'll get some interior and final exterior pics soon and post them!
