That was the same with me, but i let it sit in spam folder for about 2 weeks, i knew it was bad news, and one day i must of been on another planet cause i opened it knowing, within 3or4 seconds there were big RED words all over my screen, bang i was done in seconds. As you said it had nothing to do with UPS whatsoever, but it looked genuine. I knew it was a scam because if someone sends me tracking numbers then its because i asked them to, the thing that did'nt gel was, that we dont have UPS in australia, we have DHL, so it would of been a DHL tracking # if it was the real macoy. But still dumbo here could not resist opening it.  Curiosity killed this dipsticks PC. Now i know how the cat feels.  In my case it cost me $300 to fix the virus.
Well i have had half dozen new UPS emails  since then, now i hit DELETE without thinking about it.
