Hey Garry,
why dont you work our how much it would cost to make some of your swivel bases,
then put a mark up on them ( you have to make some money for doing it)
Im sure that a few of the guys on here would be interested in buying them

Yes Garry, a little bit of a over kill, but at the same time a work of art. Mine are very basic when I look at yours but carry a full cert too.
Mine are from the 80s when I worked for many years at Gemini Plastics, might even had these one's fitted in (Windsong) I no Ian knight had them in his (Strip Hauler).

Could make up some more but just don't have the time to get all I need done let along build more stuff. Maybe later on if time permits.

Hey Bas, so you were at at Gemini. Spent a few hour there with Ken I think it was. That's going back a few years. Bound to have met up at some stage. I didn't have swivel seats in Windsong, just a couple of single bases but glad I have them in this one. Very handy. There's plenty of options around. Some boats places make a nice swivel base but most are crap. Some jap import cars have nice swivel bases fitted as well which couild be adapted although they might have to be increased in height a bit.

Yes Garry, worked many years with Ken, helped make all the moulds for the bedford and transits fitted about 100 or so, those were the days. Was one of the first members of West City Vans with Lindsey duffy not that great of name but our DARK purple teeshits we designed back then were great a pub with the vans parked outside. Good to see the club is still going. The thing I miss the most was the Black Sands get together they were magic, and ofcourse how could we forget the van drags, "O" those 80s were great. Time to put a coat of paint on your van, seen mel's transit yesterday still not painted as well, busy days I guess.

West City vans, small world. I was in west city around '84 as a social member as was to young to have a van, but following year got one. Was when the Thames vans (John, Ian, Steve) and morrie (Andy) were right up there with the beddies
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

Hi all,
I just bought a set from Knox industries, otherwise known as Winnebage, in Emu plains Western Sydney. They are listed on Ebay, if you put Captains Chairs into the search engine, it also comes up with some leather ones. I pais $500 over the counter. these are from last years model RV's. and they are no longer using them. Take a look anyway
Cheers
