Hey chris, thats what i call a shell, does he really want a $1000 for it ? I would say that whoever gets it would have to replace most of the metal. Whats the minimum he would realistically take, taking into account i would have to transport it to brissy, that would probably cost more then the shell itself. lol.

G'day

The reason he bought it is that he has a HQ convertible and he wanted to have a roof section available if needed.
To my amazement he already has had offers close to $1000.
The problem I have is that most of my stories end with... and that is why I am not allowed to go back there!

 :-\ They would go mad about it on ebay started this HT 308 no motor or box no bucket seats at $50 and got over $3,000

  Had no ID plates had GTS dash,GTS black back seat with arm rest, factory tramp rods(GTS only) fluted guards and fluted bonnet,all black trim,consul, all GTS Monaro badges and all chrome trims BODY HAD TO HAVE WIRER TYED AROUND IT TO HOLD IT TOGETHER TO GET ON SEMI TO TAKE TO VIC...........lots of rust for free

Just goes to show there are a few monaros out there. If chris's HQ was here in qld, i may have given the asking price, but by the time you add transport, it is an expensive rusty shell. If it had a few panels, doors so on, mmm maybe. Just keep looking for now, so keep them coming guys, you may just hit the right cord. I am after a HX 2 door, or a HQ, no 4 doors.
