So Alex...Just to clear up any mis-understanding :) You didnt' redrill the back rotors to HQ stud pattern, so they are still commodore stud pattern.?

axles are hq stud pattern and yeah the rotors are comm pattern

it was a couple years ago but if memory serves me correctly 70 bucks each, better brakes in cheltenham

if its a big no no to put commadore rims on hq pattern it would be a big no no to put commadore disc over hq stud pattern unless there is enough play to alow the .5mm difference in the PCD and to not put any pressure on the studs.


the disc brake just slid straight on didnt it alex? if you had to hammer it on there i would say there is a problem but if not i recon it would be fine..

just thinking out loud:)

Thats interesting Alex.

The holes in the discs must be a clearance fit on the wheel studs.

So then it sounds like a good conversion.
