bedford diff length

just wondered the difference in length of a bedford compared to a 10 bolt salisbury from a 1 tonner....
as i want hq stud pattern.

check out diffs in driveline. i put up a post at one point with different widths of diffs

A standard SWB diff is 1720mm from face to face.

Last night I pulled the Chev 12 bolt out of my van, to make some modifications to the mounts. it measures 1620mm from drum face to drum face.

whats the brake drum size on an hq? about 9"  ?

swb beddie is 9"
lwb beddie is 10"

swb came with 9" and 10" drums i think early models were 9 inch
