G'day

One of the many things to to on the dual cab is fix the drivers seat which is broken in the hinge point.
While driving about the countryside I spied a Mazda 626 in a junk yard just out of Peak Hill. I had to stop and get the drivers seat (for nothing) and ended up driving in the dark and camping in an old pub in Trundle. Oh the joys of playing with old cars.
The problem I have is that most of my stories end with... and that is why I am not allowed to go back there!

G'day
The big drama I have run into is the disc brake front end. I have not found an engineer to approve it. I am talking to a machinist about getting some hubs machined to take a disc.

G'day

At this stage it may end in tears. I am still having major dramas getting it engineered for rego.  I have been trying to find an engineer for a while but they seem to be retiring or just not taking on any more work. If I had the spare time, and money, to take it to the coast, I may get lucky.
Modified vehicle rego in NSW is a big unkown at the moment. Things are about to change to who knows what. I have talked to Hot Rodders and 4WDers and no one is happy at what is happening.

I have just rung the RTA several times trying to get an answer to a question about my tilt tray. I had to read the Act myself and quote sections before I got a straightforward answer.

The NSW RTA is drowning in red tape. The problem is that they may take the state down with them.

Grrrrrr!
