1972 Custom Camper Rebuild
« on: February 18, 2012, 07:21:33 PM »
hey all, so here are a few pics of the beddy i picked up!
this restoration will be on a low budget, so it should be interesting!

pretty much, ripping the entire guts out of it and converting it to a band van.. polished floorboards, custom audio (i'm an audio engineer).. most likely ipad into the dash, quad subs ran in the floor, splits with hi/midrange mounted within the walls including full custom eq and the like!

i plan on keeping the fridge.. possibly upgrading it in the future (are these gas ran such as the gas stove cooker?

it's currently a black 202 3 speed.. runs really well although the gear shifter arm keeps poping out as the spring slides out.. is there an easy fix for this?
thought there is no point changing it just yet as she runs perfectly well!

future plans include making the roof automatic, and a complete interior / exterior haul all done by myself!

thanks guys! will keep updates coming if you're all keen!

andy.  ;D

Actually looks pretty straight - get onto that gutter over the windscreen before it gets too far out of control!!

What is that on the engne cover??
It's not how hard you hit it - it's how you hit it hard
