Red Intake on Black Motor
« on: August 30, 2009, 07:55:10 PM »
Hi Guys, can anyone tell me if the red 202 intake manifold can be made to fit onto the black carby version 202 motor. Have got hold of a complete motor in good nick but I want to paint it red and take all the pollution crap off it. Seeing as I have just set up a weber onto my red intake manifold was hoping it would swap over. Fittings look very similar just want all the pollution gear gone. Can anyone tell me if it can be done?????
Cheers Wayne

g/day Wayne,
the red 202,s  have smaller inlet ports
than black or blue 202,s
so there would be a bit of a fitting drama.

Thanks Marty, I guess I will just have to pull them both off and do some measuring to see what I can come up with.
