Hi Guys, I'm new and I own a Bedford "Mitchell"
« on: August 21, 2009, 07:20:50 PM »
 ;D
G'day all,
My name is Neil and i own a Bedford campervan.  It is a "Mitchell" made by "Independence" in SA in 1975.  It followed me home in 1998 and I was allowed to keep it... ;)

I live in Lismore in Northern NSW. I'm 54

It is a rough old thing that has had years of neglect and I get  a burst of energy every now and then and work madly on it for a while to get it ready for rego then leave if for months/years at a time.

My aim is to do some travelling in the next couple of years once I finish it and it wears a number plate.  My shorter term aim is, as I have the motor and front end out of it painting the cabin, is to have it back together enough by Christmas THIS YEAR (Private joke between me and my neighbour over exactly which Christmas as I have been saying this for a few years now) for it to "turn a wheel" again and drive up and down the driveway under it's own power.

Anyhow, that's me for now

Cheers

Neil
