New Hiace van

I have been happily cruising around the countryside in my Carry van racking up a lot of miles.
Problem I have is that the Carry van is too small for the current job so I have hired a new Hiace van for a couple of weeks.

I have done over 1000kms this week already. I was over the Hiace in the first few kms and it hasn't got any better.

They look ugly, are cumbersome to get in and out of, dont handle well, use a lot of fuel, and they look ugly.
They are made for idiots. There are interlocks on the ignition switch and gearstick. It beeps at me for all sorts of reasons.
The hire company has a $3300 excess for any damage so I will be looking after it.
I would never buy one. At nearly $40,000 it makes any Bedford good value for money.
