hey busy does it sound nice when its winding up and down?

cause i checked out a bloke who fitted electric windows to his van but when lifting it up and down it sounded like they were from the 50's all creaky and hmmm didnt make me want electric windows eh..

mine sound ok but aren't perfect, I think the main reason is the thickness of the glass, I think of hand the bedford was 6mm glass and the jappa 3 or 4mm and because I used the jappa mounting couldn't go over 5mm so hoped new window rubbers would help, they did a little but is a little tight at top.

because I straightened out a curved regulator the wire had to be retensioned or you get a but of free play

i changed a window regulator last night.. the roller doveys were stuffed..

that took a little bit of fidddling around in the dark..

Looks like there are quite a few options out there as far as universal kits go. It's probably not even worth trying to convert one from another vehicle. There are kits for both curved as well as flat windows.
