Go LS1...
cheaper
 easier
More power
More economy
More reliable
Bolt straight in...

Yeah as good as what they are/were, Ive had several of both and I had a stock with 10lb pulley in a VS ute as well as a 6L 6L80auto also in a vs ute, and the 6L kills it in every aspect imcluding economy and also is probably lighter
I only wish now i put the same combo in my beddy rather than LS1 4L60
6L80 is 6 speed auto.... 4L60e is 4 speed auto, although the LS1 4L60e is awesome.
Cheers Al

if i do go the v8 option it will be a 4 speed auto but most likely with a 305 chev as i have one on dedicated lpg at this point in time i am still looking at options i have also thought about a 5l out of a vs with a 4l60e it all just being thrown around atm i have a while to figure out engine with all the rust repairs
if its to loud your to old
