« on: February 28, 2009, 10:08:09 AM »
hi all,
i know they're expensive but i can't remember how expensive, and also, where to get them from. the windows are just going to keep falling in otherwise. maybe. but if anyone knows a ball park figure i'd like to know.
thanks

You guys got pararubber or something there? you should be able to pick up a decent after market rubber and filler for them
There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me"

something funky is going on with your back doors/windows maria.. yes your rubbers are very tough and old but before you go buy new ones id check to make sure that the back door has the right size hole cut out.. just a thought.
if new ones are too expensive i could do you a set of second hand reasonable ones for next to nicks..

cheers
ben

okay thanks all. there is a system in place to hold them in for now. there's no pararubber over here (i'm originally from lower hutt so i know what you're talking about). it's not super urgent but it will need to be addressed.

I lived in Upper Hutt for two years in the very late 70s very early 80s did the last two years of my carpentry apprenticeship on the Beehive and lived in McFarlane St, we used to go to the 'Pictures' somewhere in Lower Hutt every Sunday, I think it was some place starting with 'W' , visited the Lower Hutt coppers in 2005 to look at a youth program they had in Wainuiomata, love Wellington !!!!! except for the winter winds and rain  ::) how long ya been over?
