Freedom roller update
« on: April 02, 2017, 05:13:27 PM »
Well the girls back in the hands of my mates at Joch Motors in Dandenong where we are attempting to fit a turdo 700 trannie to my lil 173 red. We're hoping for lower revs in top gear to make her a real cruiser on the long drives like the upcoming nats in port fairie, just hope she can be finished in time?

Well spent the morning at my mechanics and the tailshaft has arrived and by jesus is it overkill, they decided to up the size in the event I decide to go turbo down the track - forward thinking! gotta love it, The new custom made torque converter has arrived - the cut out has been made in the bellhousing to suit the starter motor, all cooling lines are done so the last thing is to adjust - re / route the exhaust to clear the linkage and we're right to go - cant wait to get her back!!
