From my rego label

Motor vehicle: 1979 Bed Van
Fee code:       VL light vehicle
Tare:             1400 "G"

Reg fee:           $178.00
TAC charge:      $379.00
Insurance Duty: $37.90

Total:               $594.90

I pay $575.40 for a Ford EL wagon, so only about $20 difference
