NZ Toy Run
« on: December 01, 2014, 07:15:13 PM »
We cruised along to the Christmas Toy Run earlier tonight. It gave Stu a chance to show off his new Cookie Monster mural. There was one other J0 Bedford there and an interesting looking Morris van. There were also two ladies in a neat looking Escort van. A few pics attached for those who are interested.

Stu's mate's kids starting calling the van Cookie Monster as the interior is covered in blue fur and the name has just stuck. He got another mate to draw the outline of the mural and coloured it in himself using paint pens. It draws quite a bit of attention. I'll need to take some pictures of the interior of his van next time we are on a run.

Yep, there was a good turnout Ray. There must have been around 300 vehicles in total, mostly American stuff. The vans drew quite a bit of attention though.
