Fact: Borg Warner diffs are stronger than any Banjo or Salsbury diff.
I will be going for disk brakes all round on my LWB.

FRONT
• 1 x Bedford stub axle - complete disc brake front end.

REAR
• 1 x SWB Diff with 3.45 modified Borg Warner Centre and Holden 5 stud pattern.
• 1 x set of old Holden rear disc brakes w/. backing plates etc

The plan is to graft the Holden brakes onto the Bedford diff.
Nothing is impossible.

Borg Warner diffs are pretty strong but no the strongest.  Ford 9" Banjo is the top of the pile GM's 12 bolt Salsbury is also ahead of the BW. The VL Turbo or VN V8 centers are damm tough and are a heap cheaper than the other 2 options.

With the rear brakes see if the Commodore caliper and mounts will line up with a HQ-WB rear disc as the calipers from the commodores are more reliable.
