Its a great price, BUT I asked him does it have an engineers certificate for the 253 and he said it doesn't need one,  I checked with Vic roads and if you want to register it in Victoria it does, if it came out with the v8, and the compliance plate matches the engine number, no problem, even if it was registered with it in Qld, it still needs a certificate for rego in Victoria, so there will be another $1200-$1500 cost plus anything that needs fixing, and I'm sure that's a strong possibility, believe me I would have bought it back in June when he first put it on FB for $2250

Jeez, can't believe the high cert costs on your side of the Tas. My full cert cost $480.
