two words... split screen.......

Someone will pay that price... no problem, but I would say more like 40K
Bit like a genuine GTHO/GTS/RT 4 pack..... not worth in my book 200k, but others think so and will part with the $$$

And lets face it, can you easily fit a v8 in a kombi? ???  ;D  ;D ;)
Workin for the weekend!

Did you mean cheap at twice the price?
Here is one for $135,000.
http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Volkswagen-Kombi-Transporter-1955/SSE-AD-2605815/?Cr=2&sdmvc=1

even at 135k, I prefer the look of a Beddy.

I reckon the reason other lesser cars/vans cost more than Bedfords can only be due to "spec" adverts like this that eventually build up an expectation you have to pay more than a similar car is worth.
People will see the ad for 135k, then think the 65k one is a bargain and buy it.
Or maybe I am just wrong, and just a bit cranky people don't see the value in the best looking van available.

Cheers

Dave

If you were going to spend that much - i'd be shopping in the States for the 10 window / split screen which fully restored go for around the same price as these - so if you were to put it in perspective, you could reasonably ask $250,000.00 after you imported it.
