Window seals and pop top replacement
« on: September 12, 2015, 07:28:29 AM »
Good morning!

This is my first (of many I hope) Bedford and I have to admit I have very little idea of what I'm doing. It's all a learning curve and I thank you in advance for your help. I am trying to find window seals to replace on all of the windows, and also  I am looking to remove the pop top and replace with a fibreglass, as I am with the 2 back side windows and side cargo door window.

I have found one site for each of these so far, and both through Ebay, but from your experience is there a 'go to' guy to get these? And is there anybody in NSW who knows their stuff when it comes to these vans?

Thanks, Paul

G'day Paul,

Ben's Fiberglass, listed on this site and ebay, has fiberglass tops maybe.
Clark Rubber should have the right size/profile rubber for windows.

This link is for Rare Spares Bedford rubber kit:

There is info on this topic in members posts on this website.
Best of luck with your new project. Cheers, Jeff.

Thanks for that Jeff

I actually started figuring out this site straight after I posted and found a heap of useful posts. My mechanic has already called it a 'bottomless pit' project, but as long as I know its not impossible I am going to get this beauty back to her former glory! Will be sure to post updates as I go.

Thanks again!
