hey mate, i haven't used them personally, however im not a big fan of that type of kit. It uses the mechanism that is currently in your car which is good as you don't need to add another mechanism, but bad because the original bedford mechanisms aren't necessarily the best to start with.

For similar money to what you'll pay for one of those you can get a stand alone mechanism. If you have a look through Dano's gallery he has used one of the better brands.. i think it was auto loc.
When i finish the body work on my van, i'm going to graft the window mechanisms from my old BA falcon into my van.

The basics of what you want are straight guides(i'll have to straighten the ones form my BA) and you want to make sure the travel from top to bottom is greater than or equal to that of the height of the bedford window.

i hope this helps

Hey Guys, I am looking at installing power windows and central locking into my van, can you tell me where I can get the autoloc or universal widow kit from ? and a rough idea of price. Also is there a kit I can buy for the central locking ? I have scrapped my bedford locks and now have VH Commodore handles and locks. Check pics in my album.

Regards

I'll be sure to be asking plenty of questions regarding the power windows process once I get to that stage.
I'm still getting my head around this web site. Fantastic to see so many people being creative with the Bedford van. And I thought I was the only Bedford nut!
