Well I don't reckon you're the first Bedford owner to have had second thoughts.
You're certainly in the right place for any advice you need - lots of experience generously shared.

I think the shock of finding out just how much I had been ripped off and lied to was more of a mess around than anything. There's alot of work to be done on it but like many I'm not in a position to be able to pay someone to just do it all, so I'll be trying to do the bulk of it myself. Luckily I have a very talented sparky mate for the wiring, and a few friends to help with the first job-stripping it back to bare metal to see just how bad the rust is. It's been properly defected by Regency with rust in the firewall and the underside of the front doors but I want to find out where the rest is.

It usually is, but rust in the firewall is just one of those things they wont let pass.

bit late for advice now  :'(  .. but worth remembering.. usually if one books it into lonsdale  they are known to be "not as thorough" as regency park by a long shot ...  ;)
I,d rather sell my...mum,....than my bedford!!
