Bedford Fuel Filler caps

yes tweaker, the original fuel filler line did have a return airway but they were very common to perish and split leaving the van full of fumes, if i get a  chance i will take a photo for you ...... after just installing the drop tank I'm going to make a twin filler neck  to an aftermarket filler cap, similar to those used on road bikes . photo's later!   

Looked into this idea and i`m going to use a roadbike cap of a late model sports bike can get a dented tank with cap and key for about $80

Sounds sweet strez! Would love to see some photos of our it looks once it's done

Have you looked into venting issues with you tank at all, or is this not a problem? (with the new cap I mean)

pretty sure motocycle caps are vented

Cool! It would make sence seeing as they are the only thing on top of the tank.

Nice pics Busy! It looks great! Yeah it's vented, you can see the vent hole in the left hand side of the cap. This cap is similar to the one we're fittin, except ours doesn't flip open like yours. We're fitting the Newton Aero 300.

Thanks heaps for the photos cause we've been thinking of this for like 12 months now have have only in the last week or so decided to go through with it. It looks good. Ours will be polished alloy without the black insert.

What's the diameter of yours? Ours is 94mm which is smaller than original Bedford.

Doh! After a second look and re-read of your post I realised that that cap is still attached to your bike!

I took the bike in for service today and am liking the loan bike so wont have mine back for a day or two.

Most bikes have attached fuel caps

my bike is a 2006 Suzuki GSX Katana
